• Equipment Across Continents in Jamaica

March 18th 2014. Coaches Across Continents don’t only bring sustainable social change to communities globally. In 2014, we also donated over $54,200 worth of sports equipment to our partners and other organizations in disadvantaged communities. We have started 2015 in an even bigger way. Our partners in Jamaica, including former president of the Jamaican Football Federation Anthony James, recently received $129,204 worth of sports equipment from Coaches Across Continents.

This donation included different types of sports equipment such as soccer jerseys, zip jackets, soccer balls, backpacks and shoulder bags. The equipment has been and will be used by children and young people in communities across central Jamaica. The equipment donated will kit out a full youth soccer league for boys and girls. Without it there was no way for any of these leagues to take place leading to the children being unable to play organized soccer.  A lack of equipment holds back many of our community partners who are always keen to provide their community with the equipment needed to play sport. By making these donations we can help many disadvantaged communities bring happiness to local youth through the power of play.

In order to make these donations we rely on people buying sports equipment from our warehouse. We have bags, cheerleading shoes, jackets, t-shirts, shorts, socks and balls in all sizes for teams and individuals looking to purchase sports equipment. • Equipment Across Continents in Haiti

December 27th 2014. Coaches Across Continents haven’t only brought sustainable social change to communities globally this year. We have also donated over $54,200 worth of sports equipment to our partners and other organizations in disadvantaged communities in 2014. In June we donated $18,200 worth of equipment to a partner in Haiti.

This donation included different types of sports equipment such as soccer jerseys, shorts, socks, zip jackets, soccer balls, backpacks and shoulder bags. The equipment has been and will be used by children and young people in the community. In Haiti the equipment donated will be used to kit out a number of youth teams across the island- both girls and boys. Without it it was far more difficult for these teams to participate leading to children unable to play organized soccer.  A lack of equipment holds back many of our community partners who are always keen to provide their community with the tools to not only play sports but also feel part of a team. By making donations such as this we can help many disadvantaged communities bring happiness to local youth through sports.

In order to make these donations we rely on people buying sports equipment from our warehouse. We have bags, cheerleading shoes, jackets, t-shirts, shorts, socks and balls in all sizes for teams and individuals looking for sports equipment. Why not head to this page to learn about today’s special offer- donate $50 and a soccer t-shirt will be donated to a community in Colombia. Every day there will be new offers giving you the opportunity to do something different and meaningful this Christmas by donating sports equipment to under served communities across the world. When you make your donation you will be sent a certificate which can be used as a Christmas gift. There will also be days when you can purchase equipment directly to give away as great Christmas gifts.

Rather than giving a book or an ornament which won’t be used why not take advantage of these offers and give someone the pleasure of knowing that they have given communities equipment which will provide fun and pleasure to young people. Please make sure to tell us the name of the person who will be receiving the gift so that we can send it to you. These communities often do not have access to sports equipment such as this making your donation particularly important and meaningful. Equipment such as bags, t-shirts, sports jackets and shorts which are donated by you will be taken to these communities throughout 2014 and given to our local partners who know who need the gear the most.

IMG_0850A second option as part of the 12 days of Christmas is to purchase the equipment. On certain days you will have the opportunity to buy equipment and give it away as Christmas gifts. Once you make your payment we will be sent your address and will send the equipment out to you on the 10th of December allowing plenty of time for you to get the equipment before Christmas. The equipment is brand new and perfect to be used as sports training gear.

Don’t forget to keep on checking this page for the next 2 weeks to find out more special Christmas offers!
